4.4.8.5 Interfaces Configuration
This is interface configuration parameter table.
The displayed settings are:
Object Description
• Interface
Interface identification.
• Priority
User specified router priority for the interface. The allowed range is 0 to 255 and
the default value is 1.
• Passive Interface
Indicates whether the interface is passive or not
• Cost
User specified cost for this interface. It's link state metric for the interface. The
field is significant only when 'IsSpecificCost' is TRUE. The allowed range is 1 to
65535 and the default setting is 'auto cost' mode.
• Hello Interval
How many Hello packets will be sent per second. The allowed range is 1 to
65535 and the default value is 10 (seconds).
• Dead Interval
The time interval (in seconds) between hello packets. The allowed range is 1 to
65535 and the default value is 40 (seconds).
• Retransmit Interval
The time interval (in seconds) between link-state advertisement(LSA)
retransmissions for adjacencies. The allowed range is 3 to 65535 and the default
value is 5 (seconds).

• Auto/Specific
When 'Auto' is selected, the cost value is set to 0 automatically and isn't allowed
to be configured.
• Cost
User specified cost (or metric) for this summary route. It is allowed to be
configured only when 'Specific' is selected. The allowed range is 0 to 16777215
and the default setting is 'auto cost' mode.
