Note
As each Ethernet port of Industrial M12 Ethernet
Switch is running in auto negotiation mode, make
sure the opposite Ethernet devices Ethernet
ports are also running in auto negotiation mode,
otherwise, the Ethernet performance will be poor.
4. Installation
This section guides you to installing the Industrial M12 Ethernet
Switch on the DIN rail and wall. Please read this chapter
completely before continuing.
Note
In the installation steps below, this manual uses
PLANET IGS-801 8-port Industrial Gigabit Switch
as an example. The steps for PLANET Industrial
M12 Ethernet Switch are similar.

You must use the screws supplied with the wall-
mounting brackets. Damage caused to the parts
by using incorrect screws would invalidate your
warranty.
