Static Routing
Path: System -> Network Settings -> Static Routing
Static Routing is a form of routing that occurs when a router uses a manually-configured routing entry, rather than
information from a dynamic routing protocol to forward traffic.
When needed you may click on the button to add a manual static route.
Destination is the IP address of the destination host or network address.
If the packets are to be sent to the Destination specified above then send them to the Gateway address.
After the new record has been manually created you will see it listed in the route table.
DHCP Server
Path: System -> Network Settings -> DHCP Server
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a standardized network protocol used on Internet Protocol (IP)
networks for dynamically distributing network configuration parameters, such as IP addresses for interfaces and
services.
With DHCP, computers/IP phones request IP addresses and networking parameters automatically from IPPBXs
WAN/LAN port which saves administrators a lot of time when compared with having to configure these settings
manually.
Before activating DHCP services, please ensure theres no other DHCP server running in your LAN, otherwise there
will be collision between servers.
Set the DHCP server network parameters and turn it on.
