4. Terminal Setup
To congure thesystem, connect a serialcable toa COM porton a PC ornotebook
computerandtotheDB9typeofRJ45serialportoftheL3ManagedSwitch.

A terminal program,such as Tera Term or PuTTY, is required to make the software
connectiontotheL3ManagedSwitch.
1. Run terminal program on the OS.
2.When the following screen appears, make sure that the COM port should be
conguredas:
Baud:115200
 Data bits: 8
Parity:None
 Stop bits: 1
Flowcontrol:None
