2. Requirements
z Workstations running Windows XP/2003/2008/2012/Vista/7/8/10/11,
MAC OS X or later, Linux, UNIX, or other platforms are compatible
withTCP/IPprotocols.
z Workstations are installed with Ethernet NIC (Network Interface
Card)
z Serial Port Connection(Terminal)
z The above Workstations come with COM Port (DB9) or USB-to-
RS-232converter.
z The above Workstations have been installed with terminal emulator,
such as Tera Term, PuTTY or Hyper Terminal included in Windows
XP/2003.
z Serial cable -- one end is attached to the RS-232 serial port, while
theotherendtotheconsole portoftheManagedSwitch.
z Ethernet Port Connection
z Network cables -- Use standard network (UTP) cables with RJ45
connectors.
z TheabovePCisinstalledwithWebbrowser.
Note
It is recommended to use Chrome 98.0.xxx or above to
access the Managed Switch. If the Web interface of the
ManagedSwitchis notaccessible, please turnoff theanti-
virussoftwareorfirewallandthentryitagain.
