2.1.2 Standard Chassis Switch Module Description
The unit’s front panel provides a simple interface monitoring the Standard Module. Figure 2-5 shows the front
panel of the Standard Chassis Switch Module.

The CS6-S24S8X Chassis Switch provides 24 100/1000BASE-X SFP Fiber Slots and 8 1G/10G GBASE-X
SFP+ Fiber Slots. The board performs Layer 2 and Layer 3 wire-speed switching and port trunking, and
connects core layer and access layer to enable port and user QoS.

Provides one debugging serial port for single board debugging, which is not open for the

LEDs
