choicesbeforeattemptinganyadvancedsetupofthetriggerfilters.
InordertooptimizethetriggerfiltersitisnecessarytohavethePULLPTparametersetashighaspossibleandtheRELEASEPTparameter
setaslowaspossible:
1.SelectthePULLPTparameter.Observethatthegraphicalbarrisesandfallsasthetriggerispulledandreleased.Theactualvalueofthe
graphicalbarisdisplayedinthetoprightofthedisplay.
2.Settherearstopscrewasrequired,ensuringthatthebarisascloseto100%aspossiblewhenthetriggerisfullydepressedagainsttheset
screw.Itisadvisabletoallowforsomeextratravelinthetriggerpulloncethebarhasreacheditsmaximumvalue.
3.AdjustthePULLPTparametersothatwhenthetriggerisfullydepressedthebarsettlesabovetheindicatoronthelefthandsideofthe
screen(seepage35).
4.SelecttheRELEASEPTparameter.Observethatthegraphicalbarrisesandfallsasthetriggerispulledandreleased.Theactualvalueof
thegraphicalbarisdisplayedintoprightofthedisplay.
5.Setthefrontstopscrewasrequired,ensuringthatthebarisascloseto0%aspossiblewhenthetriggerisfullyreleasedagainsttheset
screw.Itisadvisabletoallowforsomeextratravelinthetriggerreleaseoncethebarhasreacheditsminimumvalue.
6.AdjusttheRELEASEPTparametersothatwhenthetriggerisfullyreleasedthebarsettlesbeneaththeindicatoronthelefthandsideofthe
screen(seepage35).
7.Setthemagnetreturnstrengthscrewandthespringreturnstrengthscrewasrequired,makingboththespringtensionandthereturnforce
asstrongaspossiblewithoutcompromisingthe“feel”ofthetrigger.
ThismenucomprisesparametersthatcontrollowlevelfunctionalityoftheGSLelectronichardware.
