THE PUSH ON
PURGE SYSTEM (POPS)
There is no need to remove the POPS from the GEO3.5 frame for general
maintenance. IF the POPS is removed, ensure the o-ring is correctly seated
before POPS re-attachment.
Fully depress the latch button then slide the bonnet forward while continuing to
depress latch button (see gure 26A).
When the bonnet is in the forward position (see gure 26B) remove the latch
button and spring from the bonnet (see gure 26C) then slide the bonnet off the
POPS body (see gure 26D). Be careful not to lose the spring.
Carefully slide the push rod out from either side of the POPS body, taking care
not to lose the two o-rings on the push rod (see gure 26E).
Clean off any dirt, debris or moisture from the bonnet, the POPS body and the
latch button (see gure26F).
Remove the POPS insert assembly using a 5/32” hex key (see gure 26G).
Remove the POPS pin from the POPS Insert.
Clean and check the condition of the 007 NBR70 o-ring on the outside of the
POPS insert, replacing as necessary (see gure 26H).
WARNING!
Always de-gas your marker, discharging any stored gas in a safe direction,
and remove the barrel, loader, air system and any paintballs to make the
marker easier and safer to work on.
