THE TRIGGER ASSEMBLY
Having removed the frame completely from the GEO3.5 body (see page 51).
Unscrew the two M2.5x5 retaining screws which hold the bearing carrier in the
frame (see gure 24A).
Gently lift the bearing carrier and trigger assembly free from the frame taking
care not to damage the micro-switch or the OPTO sensors (see gure 24B).
Remove the trigger spring from the bearing carrier, removing any paint or
moisture (see gure 24C).
Using a 1/16” hex key, loosen the trigger pin retaining set screw from the back
of the trigger (see gure 24D).
Use a small hex key to push the trigger pin out of the bearing carrier from
one side (see gure 24E), then remove the bearing carrier from the trigger
(see gure 24F).
Clean the trigger and bearing carrier thoroughly and also clean the space within
the frame that the trigger sits in.
WARNING!
Always de-gas your marker, discharging any stored gas in a safe direction,
and remove the barrel, loader, air system and any paintballs to make the
marker easier and safer to work on.
