GEO3.5 MANUAL 47
CLEANING THE
BODY FILTER
Remove the inline regulator as covered on page 44. Turn the GEO3.5 upside
down to reveal the body lter inside the body (see gure 18A).
Using a 5/64” hex key unscrew and remove the retaining screw (see gure 18B).
Then remove the body lter (see gure 18C).
Inspect and clean the body lter. If the lter is very dirty replace with a new lter.
Insert the lter
1
into the FRM on the GEO3.5 body, ensuring the hole in the lter
lines up with the threads in the body (see gure 18D).
Using a 5/64” hex key, replace the retaining screw. DO NOT over tighten the
retaining screw as this may result in the lter being crushed between the screw
and GEO3.5 body (see gure18E).
Re-attach the inline regulator to the GEO3.5.
If after cleaning the GEO3.5 is still experiencing slow purge and low velocity
issues the lter may need replacing.
1 If the lter has only been cleaned and not replaced with a new one, ensure the lter is inserted
back into the body facing the same way it was removed. This will prevent any dirt embedded in
the lter being blow into the bolt system of the marker when supplied with compressed air.
WARNING!
Always de-gas your marker, discharging any stored gas in a safe direction,
and remove the barrel, loader, air system and any paintballs to make the
marker easier and safer to work on.
If you are unsure about performing a maintenance procedure please
contact your nearest service centre.
