TheGEO3.1solenoidassemblycontainstwosub-assemblies,the
solenoidvalveandthesolenoidmanifold.Removalofthesolenoid
valveisrequiredtoaccessthesolenoidmanifoldforservicing.The
solenoidvalveitself
(SEEFIGURE25A)
isanon-serviceableitem.Any
attempttostriporservicethesolenoidvalvewillimmediatelyvoid
theGEO3.1warranty.IfyouexperienceanyissuewiththeGEO3.1
solenoidvalvethenpleasecontactyourEclipseServiceCentre.See
page66forEclipseServiceCentredetails.
WiththeframeseparatedfromtheGEO3.1bodyandthesolenoid
andBBSSwiresunpluggedfromthecircuitboard(seepage51)use
a5/64”hexkeytoundoandremovethetwoscrewsthatholdthe
solenoidassemblyontotheGEO3.1body

Firstlyremovethesolenoidvalvefromthebody,thiswillexposethe
solenoidmanifoldwhichsitspartiallyinsidetheGEO3.1body
(SEE

CarefullypullthesolenoidmanifoldoutfromtheGEO3.1body,
exposingthegastransferholeswhichleadtotheboltassembly
(SEE
FIGURE25D)
.Thesolenoidgasketmaystillbeattachedtothebody,
ifthisisthecase,carefullypeelthegasketoffthebodyandplaceto
oneside.
WiththesolenoidassemblycompletelyremovedfromtheGEO3.1
body,thebottomoftheGEO3.1bodyshouldnowresemble

freefromcontaminationfromanydirt,debris,paintormoistureand
clearawayanyexcessgreaseifitappearstobeblockinganyofthe
transferholes.
