theninserta1/8”hexkeyintothebottomoftheadjusterscrew
andcarefullyturnitcounter-clockwiseuntilthetwopartsbeginto
unscrewfreely

twopartstakingcarenottoloseanyoftheinternalcomponents

Insidetheadjusterscrewyouwillfindaregulatorseal,purgepoppet
andspring(purgepoppetassembly)

.Inspect
andcleantheregulatorseal,turningitoverifonesideappears
excessivelywornordamagedorreplaceifnecessary.Inspectand
cleanthepurgepoppetorreplaceifnecessary.
Placethepurgepoppetandattachedspringinthecentralholeinthe
regulatorseal,theninsertthesepartsintotheadjusterscrew
(SEE

.Ensureisitre-installedcorrectly,failuretodosomay
seriouslydamagetheGEO3.1solenoid.
Withtheregulatorseal,purgevalveandspringinstalledbackinto
theadjusterscrew,replacetheadjustertop

thetwopartstightlytogetherusing1/8”and3/32”hexkeys.Refer
tothe‘SL4InlineRegulatorAssembly’sectiononpages44-45to
re-assembletheSL4inlineregulator.
