THE BREAK BEAM SENSOR
SYSTEM (BBSS)
Undo the retaining screw for the BBSS cover on the
right hand side of the Etha body using a 5/64" (2mm)
hex key
(SEE FIGURE 14A).
Remove the cover to expose the back of the sensor
unit
(SEE FIGURE 14B). Using a dry cotton bud,
carefully remove any debris, paint or moisture from the
back of the sensor unit and from inside the BBSS cover.
Lift the sensor unit free from the Etha body and using
another dry cotton bud, remove any grease or debris
build-up from the front face of the sensor unit
(SEE
FIGURE 14C)
, then clean the sensor channel and
hole on the Etha body.
DE-GAS YOUR MARKER, DISCHARGING ANY
STORED GAS IN A SAFE DIRECTION, AND REMOVE
THE BARREL, LOADER, AIR SYSTEM AND ANY
PAINTBALLS TO MAKE THE MARKER EASIER AND
SAFER TO WORK ON.
