Ensure that the rammer is in its rear position and taking an
L-shaped hex key, place it down through the bolt pin slot in
the top of the body so that you can apply light pressure to
the cam lever to pop the valve guide out of its place in the
Ego LV1 body

Inspect the sealing face of both the exhaust valve

and valve guide

for any excessive wear or damage. If either the exhaust valve
or the valve guide are damaged/scratched then replace with
authentic Ego LV1 parts.
Lubricate the o-ring on the valve guide

Lubricate the o-ring on the valve plug

Place the exhaust valve in the valve guide, making sure that
the sealing faces are next to each other

and place the valve spring over the end of the exhaust valve
and then place this sub-assembly into the valve stem
