FAULT FINDING
FAULT FINDING TABLES
SYMPTOM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
NO COMMS
is shown on the CS2 LCD.
Secondary circuit board is not receiving information from
the primary circuit board.
Check the ribbon cable for damage.
Check the ribbon mounted connectors for paint or water ingress.
Check the board mounted connectors for paint or water ingress.
BAD PID
is shown on the CS2 LCD.
Secondary circuit board does not recognise the primary
circuit board.
Determine which board is faulty and replace it.
BAD SID
is shown on the CS2 LCD.
Primary circuit board does not recognise the secondary
circuit board.
Determine which board is faulty and replace it.
BAD SVR
is shown on the CS2 LCD.
The version of Firmware in the secondary circuit board
is not compatible with the Firmware in the primary
circuit board.
Reprogram the primary circuit board, secondary circuit board,
or both.
NO PARAMS is shown on the LCD.
The secondary board has not received the control
parameters from the primary board.
This message normally removes itself once parameters have been
received. If not, refer to NO COMMS above.
