3. How to Connect Cables • Do not connect/disconnect cables while PS5580 or other external equipments are turned on. • First turn off the power all the attached equipment and make connections. IR Reception • Make sure the power cord is inserted properly into the power inlet to prevent unexpected pullout of the cord. 3.1. Connection of Single PS5580 • PS5580 and PC should be connected; a Com Port in a PC and RS-232C IN port in a PS5580 is connected with supplied RS-232C cable.
3.2. Connection of Multiple PS5580 (for DP in) 3.3. Connection of Multiple PS5580(for HDMI in) • Image quality can be affected by cable or signal quality. • It is recommended you purchase an HDMI-certified cable. Otherwise, the screen may appear blank or a connection error may occur. • Please use DisplayPort cable with DisplayPort certified logo. • Select DisplayPort cables feature a locking function. When removing this cable, hold down the top button to release the lock.
