4.7 Acoustic warning signal
❖ The appliance is equipped with an acoustic warning signal which indicates that
the door of the appliance is opened for a longer period of time.
1. If the door is opened for more than 1 minute, an acoustic warning signal sounds.
2. The operational status indicator of the acoustic warning signal « » flashes.
The acoustic warning signal sounds 3 times per minute for a total of 10 minutes.
3. Press the « ALARM » - BUTTON or close the door properly to switch off the
acoustic warning signal.
4. The operational status indicator of the acoustic warning signal « » goes off.
NOTICE! In order to save energy a prolonged opening of the door should
be avoided.
4.8 Power failure
❖ In the case of a power failure, the current settings will be secured and maintained.
❖ If the appliance is supplied with power again, it continues to work with the
settings adjusted before

❖ Max storage time in case of malfunctions: s. chapter TECHNICAL DATA.
In the event of an unpredictable power failure:
➢ reduce the opening frequency of the doors.
➢ do not put any new food in the appliance to avoid a rapid rise of the
temperature inside the appliance.
In the event of a predictable power failure, you can activate the FAST
FREEZING MODE and decrease the temperatures as a precautionary measure to
set the appliance to the lowest temperatures so that both the fridge and freezer
compartment are maximally cooled at the time of the power failure.
4.9 The fridge
The cooling compartment (fridge) is not intended for storing food for a longer
period of time. So, use the cooling compartment for short-term storage only.
Different temperature areas due to the air circulation occur in the appliance. Use
these different temperature areas to store different kinds of food.
