4.6 How to switch on / off the cooling of the appliance

❖ The cooling of the appliance can be switched off to reduce the energy

consumption (e.g. during holiday).

WARNING! The « POWER » - BUTTON switches off the compressor

(cooling) only. You must unplug the appliance to disconnect it from the

mains.

NOTICE! The cooling of the entire appliance is switched off! Do not

leave any food in the appliance; neither in the freezer compartment nor in

the fridge.

HOW TO SWITCH ON THE COOLING

1. Press and hold the « POWER » - BUTTON for 3 seconds.

2. The backlight goes on and the symbol « - - »

is indicated on the display.

3. After approx. 1 minute without using any operating buttons, the backlight /

indicator goes off.

4. The cooling of the appliance is switched on.

5. The temperature of the freezer compartment will be set to the automatic setting

and the temperature of the fridge will be reset to the previous setting.

HOW TO SWITCH OFF THE COOLING

1. The backlight of the control panel must be on. If not, press any button to

activate the backlight.

2. Press and hold the « POWER » - BUTTON for 3 seconds.

3. The backlight goes off. The cooling of the appliance is switched off.

4. Please note: The cooling of the entire appliance is switched off! Do not

leave any food in the appliance; neither in the freezer compartment nor in the

fridge.
