edged objects to remove the encrusted ice. Never use a steam cleaner.

FRIDGE
1.
The cooling compartment is equipped with an automatic defrost-system.

The water is drained at the back inside the appliance

3.
The water is collected in a container underneath the compressor. The water
evaporates in this container.
4.
The drain must not be blocked.
5.
Clean the drain carefully with a pipe cleaner.
FREEZER COMPARTMENT
➢ The freezer compartment of the appliance should be defrosted regularly to
ensure proper operation.
1.
Open the door of the appliance and the door of the freezer compartment.
2.
Remove the contents from the entire appliance and put them into a cooling box.
3.
Switch off the appliance by turning the thermostat to position 0

OFF
and
disconnect it from the mains or use a cut-off device.
4.
When the encrusted ice melts put some dry cloths into the freezer compartment
to hold the water back.
5.
Do not use hot water to accelerate the defrosting operation.
6.
Remove the big pieces of ice first.
7.
Afterwards remove the small pieces of ice.
8.
Wipe and dry the freezer compartment and the door seal with dry and soft cloths.
9.
After cleaning: leave the doors (fridge and freezer compartment) open for some
time to ventilate the appliance.
NOTICE! If the appliance has been disconnected from the mains for a
longer period of time, allow the appliance to cool down for approx. 3 until
4 hours on medium thermostat setting [s. chapter 4.3 TEMPERATURE
SETTING (THERMOSTAT SETTING)] before you place any fresh or frozen food
in the appliance. If you place food in the appliance before it has reached
its normal operating temperature, the food can thaw and / or spoil.
