➢ If you turn the thermostat to « 0 », the cooling for the entire appliance (fridge
and freezer compartment) will be switched off.
➢ If you turn the thermostat to « 1 - 2 », the temperature inside the fridge will be
increased (lower / slight cooling).
➢ If you turn the thermostat to « 3 - 4 », the temperature inside the fridge is set to
a medium temperature value (medium / average cooling).
➢ If you turn thermostat to « 5 - 6 »or « 7 », the temperature inside the fridge will
be decreased (« 5 - 6 » = high / strong cooling / « 7 » = highest / strongest
cooling).
PLEASE NOTE: the higher the thermostat setting is, the longer the
compressor operates to reach the set cooling temperature.
The description of the thermostat settings represents standard values only.
The thermostat settings « 3 » and « 4 » are suitable for daily use.
You can check the temperature inside the appliance using a suitable thermometer
(not included in the scope of delivery).
When the ambient temperature is extremely high (please observe the climatic class
of your appliance in chapter « TECHNICAL DATA »!), you can set the thermostat
to a colder setting if needed (thermostat settings « 5 - 6 » or « 7 »); the energy
consumption may be increased. If the colder setting should cause strong
formation of encrusted ice, please select a lower setting (thermostat settings « 1 -
4 »).
Extremely high ambient temperatures and simultaneously operating at the coldest
setting may make the compressor operate permanently to keep the
temperature constant inside the appliance. Please observe the climatic class of
your appliance in chapter « TECHNICAL DATA »!
