2.12 Adjustment of the door spring tension
❖ After having installed the decoration-panel, try to open and close the door to
check its balance and to decide if it can remain in its installation-condition. When
the door is balanced improperly, turn the screws in clockwise and anti-clockwise
direction for proper adjustment (or let the balance adjust by an experienced
person).
HOW TO ADJUST THE DOOR SPRING TENSION
1. Turn the setscrew to tighten or loosen the steel cable using a Phillips screwdriver
(s. fig. below).
An incorrectly adjusted door spring tension can damage the appliance.
2. The door spring tension is set correctly when the appliance door remains
horizontal in the fully open position but closes when lifted slightly with a finger.
