CONNECTION - PRODUCT DISCHARGE
Exhaust gases of gas cookers must be discharged by a cooker hood which is
connected to a smoke outlet or directs the exhaust gases to the outside. Look at the
instruction manual (hood) for information about the safety distance between hood
and cooker.
LEVELLING
The appliance is equipped with adjustable feet.
Unpacking and positioning
1. Unpack the appliance carefully. Dispose of the packaging as described in
chapter waste management.
2. Completely remove the transport-protection. Be very careful and do not use
any aggressive or abrasive detergents to remove residuals of the transport-
protection.
3. Install the appliance in a dry and well-ventilated room. After installation, an
easy access to the connection components and the controls of the appliance is
requested.
4. Install the appliance in a suitable place with an adequate distance from sources
of heat and cold.
5. Check that the appliance and the power cord are not damaged..
6. Do not install the appliance in a place where it may come in contact with water
or rain; otherwise the insulation of the electrical system will be damaged.
7. Install the appliance on a level, dry and solid floor. Check the correct
installation with a bubble level. Adjust the appliance with the adjustable feet.
8. Connect the appliance to the mains properly.
9. Connect the appliance to the gas supply properly.
10. The nameplate is situated inside the appliance or at its back.

relevant to the current local and legal regulations.
1. An electrical supply of 220-240V AC / 50 Hz is required.
