Transport and handling
1. When you move the appliance, hold it at its base and lift it up carefully. Hold the
appliance in an upright position.
2. Never use the doors to move the appliance. Otherwise you damage the hinges.
3. The appliance must be transported by at least two persons.
4. The supply cord must not be caught under the appliance while/after moving it.
General safety instructions
1. In case of a technical malfunction disconnect the appliance from the mains
and gas supply immediately (close gas stop valve). Report the malfunction to
your aftersales service.
2. Do not operate the appliance in a case of malfunction. Repairs must be carried
out by a qualified professional.
3. When operating a gas cooker, heat and damp is conducted into the
room where the cooker is installed in. A proper ventilation is required.
Keep ventilation openings free or install a cooker hood with an exhaust
conduction. Ask a qualified professional if in doubt what to do.
4. Disconnect the appliance from the mains and close the gas stop valve when
the appliance is not in use.
5. Do not put any heavy objects on the opened oven door. Do not lean against
the oven door; otherwise you will damage the hinges.
6. Do not put any cookware or a baking tray on the bottom of the oven. Do not
cover the bottom of the oven with aluminium foil.
7. Electric connections and wires must not contact any parts of the appliance
which become hot.
8. Domestic equipment as well as any electric leads must not contact the oven or
the cooker.
9. Bottom storing compartment: Do not put any flammable materials or plastic-
made objects in the bottom storing compartment.
10. The veneering of adjacent cupboards must be fixed with a heat-resisting glue,
which withstands temperatures of at least 100
0
C.
11. Always control the appliance when you operate it. Oil and fat can catch fire
when they are overheated or overcook/slop over.
12. Let the gas burners cool down before you close the top cover.
13. The appliance becomes hot during operation. Do not touch the hot parts of
the appliance.
14. Do not use the appliance to heat your rooms or to dry your washing.
15. Adjacent walls and furniture must be made of heat-resistant materials.
16. Do not install the appliance near of curtains or upholstered furniture.
17. Do not install the appliance in or near of rooms or areas where you store
flammable materials or substances as gas, petrol or paints. This warning also
