❖ Leave the water in the water tank for at least 4 hours with the door of the
appliance closed so that it can become cool.
❖ Clean the water tank before you use it for the first time; s. chapter 6.2 CLEANING
OF THE WATER DISPENSER.
4.8.1 Child lock
❖ The water dispenser is equipped with a CHILD LOCK to protect it from operation
by children or unintentional operation.
HOW TO ACTIVATE THE CHILD LOCK
1. Press the buttons « MODUS (MODE) » (C) and
« GEFRIEREN (FREEZER) » (B) on the display
simultaneously to activate the CHILD LOCK of the water
dispenser.

2. The CHILD LOCK of the water dispenser is activated.
3. The lever of the water dispenser is locked; the water dispenser cannot be used.
HOW TO DEACTIVATE THE CHILD LOCK
1. Press the buttons « MODUS (MODE) » (C) and
« GEFRIEREN (FREEZER) » (B) on the display
simultaneously to deactivate the CHILD LOCK of the
water dispenser.

2. The CHILD LOCK of the water dispenser is deactivated.
3. The lever of the water dispenser is unlocked; the water dispenser can be used
again.
NOTICE! Always deactivate the child lock before you use the water
dispenser, otherwise you can damage the water dispenser permanently.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS!
The child lock of the water dispenser must be activated and deactivated using the
BUTTON COMBINATION « MODUS (MODE) + GEFRIEREN (FREEZER) » only!
The locking mechanism (see fig. below) must not be operated manually.
