Localisation of the respective cooking zone
Symbol for the activation of the flexible cooking zones (dual cooking
zone); s. fig. in chapter 3.1 OVEN AND HOB.
After cooking, turn the ROTARY KNOB on position « 0 » immediately to
switch off the corresponding cooking zone.
NOTICE! Turn the rotary knobs of the flexible cooking zones to the desired
power level in clockwise direction only. Then you can turn the knob back
to its home position. Otherwise, you may damage the temperature control
knob.
4.2.3 General operation of the hob
1. Put a cookware directly onto a cooking zone. Always keep the bottom of the
cookware as well as the cooking zone clean and dry.
2. Turn the corresponding rotary knob clockwise or anticlockwise to switch on the
hob (turn the rotary knobs of the flexible cooking zones clockwise only!)
3. Turn the corresponding knob to position « 0 » to stop cooking.
Beware of the hot surfaces of the cooking zones! The RESIDUAL HEAT
INDICATOR (7 / s. chapter 3.1 OVEN AND HOB) indicates which cooking zones
are still hot. The residual heat indicator disappears as soon as the relevant cooking
zone has cooled down. You can use the residual heat for saving energy when
starting a new cooking procedure on a cooking zone which is still warm / hot.
4.2.4 How to activate the flexible cooking zones
1. To activate the oval or dual cooking zone (s fig. in chapter 3.1 OVEN AND HOB).
turn the corresponding rotary knob in clockwise direction to the symbol
« » (dual cooking zone).
2. Turn the rotary knob to the desired power setting (1 / 2 / 3 / 4/ 5 or 6)
afterwards.
