Skimbot Functionality
Skimbot is powered by a rechargeable
Lithium Ion battery located inside. This
battery is charged by two 6-Watt solar
panels (12 Watts total) located on top of
the unit.
During the day the solar panels generate
enough power to charge the battery and
run the unit. As a result, when the sun
goes down, the unit will operate on power
which has been stored in the battery
during the day.
If battery power falls below a pre-set
level at night, the unit will shut itself down,
but will re-start automatically in the
morning when the solar panels re-charge
the battery.
