Press Setup repeatedly until the

prompt appears.

Press yes.

Key in the date in place of MMDDYY

(month/day/year) on the display. For example,

February 14, 1996 is entered as 0 2 1 4 9 6.

Press Enter.

Press the Clear (C) to return to ready mode.

This feature is used primarily for setting the date on a

new meter or to restore the date after changing the

batteries.

Setting the Date

To temporarily change the date, use the Advance Date

key as described on page 10 in the section Checking

the Date.

The date you set appears on the ready mode display.
