MARKER CONTROL DEFINITIONS
24
Tournament Lock Switch in the ON position. Setpoints 1 thru 8 represent each available firing mode in
scrolling order (1 = Semi … 8 = NXL, see firing mode chart for full list).
Breakout Mode – This setting allows you to fire a one-time full automatic burst on the first trigger
pull after selecting any firing mode. The firing operation will then transition to what ever base firing mode
is selected after the first trigger release.
Trigger Debounce – This value sets amount of time (in milliseconds) the trigger must remain inac-
tive prior to accepting a new trigger pull. Lowering this value can cause your marker to fire errantly when
making successive trigger pulls. Raising this value will prevent errant firing and provide reliable firing in
sync with your trigger pulls
Solenoid Dwell – This value controls the amount of time (in milliseconds) the solenoid is energized. If
too low, the sear will not trip and subsequently not fire the marker. If the value is too high the solenoid
remains on too long, wasting battery power.
Eye Mode – While your eyes are functioning, your marker will fire at the MGRF Eyes ON BPS rate. If
your marker’s eyes become disabled, iFault™ will automatically switch to the MGRF Eyes OFF BPS rate
automatically. If your eye functionality returns, iFault™ will automatically resume firing at the MGRF Eyes
ON BPS rate. Refer to the table below for Eye operation values.
Bolt Return Delay – This value controls the amount of time (in milliseconds) after the solenoid de-
energizes to allow the bolt to transition back past the marker eyes. If the eyes do not see this transition
(obstruction or broken ball), the iFault™ mode is automatically invoked and the Max ROF is dropped to
the Eyes Off rate. Eyes Off rate is maintained until the obstruction is cleared at which point the Max ROF
is automatically restored to the Eyes On rate.
Breech/Eye Delay – This value controls the amount of time (in milliseconds) the eyes must see a
ball in the breech prior to cycling the bolt. This adjustability will compensate for different paint grades and
feed methods.
Auto Shutoff – This setting allows you to adjust if or when you would like your marker to shut off
automatically after NO firing activity. Auto Shutoff values range from 2 – 20, with each increment adding 3
minutes of time to the delay. This provides shutoff times from 6 to 60 minutes. A value of 1 will defeat
the Auto Shutoff feature, and your marker will remain on until you manually shut it off.
NON-ADJUSTABLE FEATURES (ALWAYS ON):
Trigger Buffering - This buffers a trigger pull during the bolt cycle, resulting in your marker firing
more smoothly in all modes.
Value 1 – Eyes On operation with iFault™ processing
• Allows manual Eye On/Off Operation
Value 2 – Eyes On operation with NO iFault™ processing
• Allows manual Eye On/Off Operation
Value 3 – Eye Bypass Mode with iFault™ processing
• Dry firing mode only
• Defaults to Eyes On MGRF
• Provides test mode for Bolt Return Delay (via iFault™)
Value 4 – Eye Bypass Demo Mode
• Dry firing mode only
• Eye processing bypassed
• Defaults to Eyes On MGRF
Value 5 – Eye Disable Mode
• Use for broken or missing Eyes
• All Eye processing and Eye function disabled
• Defaults to Eyes Off MGRF
