This hardhat has been shipped with the
suspension not installed to prevent distortion
during shipping. To install the suspension:
1. Set the hardhat upside-down on its crown.
2. Line up the suspension so that the sweatband is
at the front next to the brim (Figure 1).
3. Push each of the four clips into its slot (Figure 2).
You should feel and hear them snap into place.
4. Open ratchet band by turning the knob to left as
shown in Figure 3.
5. Place helmet on head and push down on top of
helmet until comfortable wearing height is
reached.
6. Tighten ratchet band while on head by turning
knob to the right as shown in Figure 3. Tighten
until comfortable fit is obtained.
