Connections ! ! ! ! ! Be sure to turn off the power and unplug the power cord from the power outlet whenever making or changing connections. Refer to the operating instructions for the component to be connected. Connect the power cord after all the connections between devices have been completed. When using a LAN cable for connection, be sure to use either the LAN cable included with this product or an STP (shielded twisted pair) cable.

Connecting USB devices 1 Press the [u] switch to turn this unit’s power on. 2 Connect the USB device to the USB device insertion slot. Playing media connected to or inserted in this unit Operation Turning the power on 1 Load the medium in this unit. 2 Touch [USB]. The tracks or folders are displayed on a list.
Additional information Troubleshooting ! ! Incorrect operation is often mistaken for trouble or malfunction. If you think that there is something wrong with this component, check the points below and the [FAQ] for the [XDJ-1000] on the Pioneer DJ support site. http://pioneerdj.com/support/ Sometimes the problem may lie in another component. Inspect the other components and electrical appliances being used.
Check Remedy The scale is not displayed. Is the track over 15 minutes long? The scale is not displayed for tracks whose playing time is over 15 minutes. PRO DJ LINK does not work well. Are the player numbers properly set? Set [PLAYER No.] to [AUTO] or to a number different from the number currently set. Is the LAN cable properly connected? Connect the LAN cable properly to the [LINK] terminal. Is the switching hub’s power turned on? Turn the switching hub’s power on.
