3.4 compressor inspection method
Use the multimeter to test the resistance between three terminal of compressor.
The resistance between three terminal should be the same.the normal value should be 0.5-2 Ω.
Resistance value： UV=VW=WU
3.5 indoor fan motor inspection method
Use the multimeter to test the resistance between three terminal of fan motor,
Resistance value: (BLK-RED) + (RED-WHT) = (RED-WHT)
3.6 Outdoor fan motor inspection method
（1）turn-to-turn short circuit:
To measure entire winding resistance by multi-meter, if the difference between measured value and the
standard value is larger, it means turn-to-turn short circuit.
（2）opened coil:
To measure entire winding resistance by multi-meter, if the resistance is ∞,means opened coil.
（3）Electric leakage & insulation test
To measure resistance between the points of winding and other part of motor by multi-meter, if the resistance
value is infinite, means no electric leakage and the insulation is perfect. If the resistance value is tiny or zero, electric
leakage may exist in motor or insulation material may be aged or broken.
