Procedure Illustration
1) Remove the flange nut of terminal cover,
and remove the terminal cover (see Fig. 1).
2) Disconnect the connectors (see Fig. 2).

WARNING: Evacuate the system and conrm that there is no refrigerant left in the system before removing the
four-way valve and the compressor. (The operation below should be performed by professionals.)
(For R32/R290 systems, evacuate the system with the vacuum pump, flush the system with nitrogen, and repeat those two steps prior to heating up the brazed parts.)
Note: Remove the panel plate, connection of four-way valve on PCB (refer to 3.1 Panel Plate Disassembly and
3.2 Electrical Components Disassembly), and insulation blanket, prior to disassembling the compressor.
