HDMI
HDMI Mode Single This is selected when connecting a device for use with the HDMI 
OUT (MAIN) terminal only.
Separate Select this when you want to output the video and audio separately, 
the video from the HDMI OUT (MAIN) terminal, the audio from the 
HDMI OUT (SUB) terminal.
Pure Audio Select this to enjoy music only with a better sound quality when 
devices are connected to both HDMI output terminals. With this 
setting, music is output from the HDMI OUT (SUB) terminal only, and 
video signals are only output from the HDMI OUT (MAIN) terminal 
when DISPLAY is pressed.
Also refer to Setting the HDMI Mode on page 17.
Color Space RGB Select this to output the video signals as RGB signals. Choose this if 
the colors seem too faint and the black seems too bright.
YCbCr4:4:4 Select this to output the video signals as YCbCr 4:4:4 signals.
YCbCr4:2:2 Select this to output the video signals as YCbCr 4:2:2 signals.
YCbCr4:2:0 Select this to output the video signals as YCbCr 4:2:0 signals.
Full RGB Select this to output the video signals as RGB signals. Choose this if 
the colors seem too dense and all the dark colors are displayed in a 
uniform black.
When the connected HDMI device does not support YCbCr4:2:0, or an output resolution incompatible with 
YCbCr4:2:0 is set, YCbCr4:2:0 signal may not be output even if YCbCr4:2:0 is set.
HDMI Deep Color Auto Select this to automatically output the optimal bit color.
10 bit Select this when outputting the video signals with 10-bit color.
12 bit Select this when outputting the video signals with 12-bit color.
Off Select this when outputting the video signals with normal 8-bit 
color.
HDMI Audio Out Bitstream Select this to output HDMI audio signals directly.
PCM Select this to output HDMI audio signals converted to PCM audio 
signals.
Reencode When a BD containing secondary audio and interactive audio is 
played, the two audio signals are mixed and converted to Dolby 
Digital audio or DTS audio for output.
Control On Select this to control the player with the remote control of the 
connected AV device using an HDMI cable. Also refer to page 17.
Off Select this when you do not want to control the player with the 
remote control of the connected AV device using an HDMI cable.
To use PQLS function (page 18), Control must be set to On.
HDMI 3D Auto With 3D discs, the disc is played with 3D images.
Off 3D images are not played.
3D Notice Yes This sets whether or not to display the 3D notice when playing 3D 
images.

Network
IP Address Setting Select this to set the IP address of the player and DNS server (page 44).
Proxy Server Only set the proxy server if so instructed by your Internet service provider (page 44).
Information Displays the values of the MAC address, IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS 
server (primary) and DNS server (secondary).
Connection Test Select this to test the network connection (page 44).
BD-Live Connection Permitted All discs are allowed to connect to BD-LIVE.
Partial Permitted Only discs whose safety has been confirmed are allowed to connect to 
BD-LIVE.
Prohibited No disc is allowed to connect to BD-LIVE.
