The map coverage for all 2008 Pioneer navigation systems includes
the whole of Europe – with up to 8.4 million kilometres across
up to 33 countries. More than 1.5 million POIs (1.8 million for the AVIC-X3II
and 8.2 million for the AVIC-HD3II) have been included, as well as
house numbers for a large part of the covered areas. The AVIC-F900BT,
AVIC-F700BT and AVIC-F500BT also include connector roads for Albania,
Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania,
Serbia, Montenegro and Ukraine; the AVIC-X3II includes connector roads
for Macedonia and Serbia.
Furthermore, the AVIC-HD3II offers detailed City Maps* for European
capitals and major cities.

2008 MAP COVERAGE
Pioneer’s installed-type navigation units have a built-in TMC
(Trafc Message Channel) receiver offering up-to-the-minute detailed
trafc information. In countries where real-time TMC trafc information
is broadcast, the system indicates the trafc events on the map within
a range of 150 kilometres and presents you with an alternative route
in order to avoid the trafc event. A special menu function lists all
the current trafc events in the area and even sorts them by ‘Distance’
or ‘Event’.
When the AVIC-X3II is in Memory Navi mode, TMC is also available
for the country you were in at the time of switching to Memory Navi
mode, and for the country prior to that. The trafc information received
while in Memory Navi mode only covers the area that has been stored
in the memory. In addition, trafc lists will not be available. However,
trafc icons will still appear on the map whenever a new message is received.
