Even if a DVD-R(W) disc is recorded in Video format (Video Mode), it may not be playable as a result of
scratches, dirt or characteristics specific to the disc, or dirt or condensation on the pickup lens. DVD-R(W) discs
that haven’t been finalised, cannot be played. In general, discs recorded in the current format using a PC
(personal computer) are playable. However, certain settings and application software environments may
not be able to play these discs. Please ask your application software sales agent for more details.

Use finalised music CD-R(W) discs for playback. In some cases, CD-R(W) discs may not play back correctly,
unless they have been recorded using a CD-R(W) unit for recording music. Furthermore, CD players
may not play back music CD-R(W) discs recorded from a music CD-R(W) recorder as a result of scratches,
dirt or characteristics specific to these discs, or dirt or condensation on the pickup lens. Text information such
as titles recorded on CD-R(W) discs may not be displayed. Read directions carefully regarding disc use before
handling CD-R(W) discs. Even if playback of a CD-R(W) disc is possible, it may take several seconds before
actual sound reproduction begins.
