Integrate Your Smartphone with Your Receiver
Pioneer Smart Sync is a highly evolved app available for both iOS and Android OS devices that utilizes the power of a connected
smartphone to expand the features and user interface of compatible Pioneer in-dash receivers. With support for either a
Bluetooth® or USB connection, the link between your smartphone and the in-dash receiver can be either wired or wireless.
Through Pioneer Smart Sync, you can access many popular smartphone apps for maps, messages, music and more.
Compatible CD Receivers feature designated bu ons for Navi, and
BASS Boost. The Rotary knob triggers system to read messages out
loud.
Pioneer Smart Sync now features Alexa Built-in. Just download or
update to the latest version of the Pioneer Smart Sync app and
download the Alexa app. Using Alexa with Pioneer Smart Sync
is simple: just tap-and-ask to play music, hear the news, check
weather, control smart home devices

, and more. Alexa lives in the
cloud, so it’s always ge ing smarter, adding new capabilities that are
delivered to your device automatically.

Requirements to access the Pandora music service
using a Pioneer system: iPhone using iOS-9 or later;
compatible with Android OS 4.1.1 or higher; Pandora
application; current Pandora account; wireless data
plan. Android devices require a Bluetooth connection
that supports both SPP (Serial Port Profile) and A2DP
(Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). Pandora service
is currently only available in the U.S.
SiriusXM Radio is a subscription service not
a iliated with Pioneer - service is available only in
certain locations within the continental U.S. More
information is available at www.siriusxm.com.
Spotify is a music service not a iliated with Pioneer.
More information is available at www.spotify.com.
Requirements to access the Spotify music service
using a Pioneer system: iPhone 5c or newer with OS
8.0 or later; compatible Android smartphone; Spotify
application; current Spotify account; wireless data
plan; and iPhone cable may be required for iPhone
depending on model. Android devices require a
Bluetooth connection that support both SPP (Serial
Port Profile) and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile). Spotify service is currently only available in
the U.S., Australia, Mexico, Singapore, China, and parts
of Western Europe.
Connected services require connection to a
wireless network via a compatible iPhone or Android
smartphone device. Ability to use such services will
depend on network availability. If your data plan does
not have unlimited data, charges from your carrier
may apply.
