The menu items vary according to the source.
Menu Item Description
[Lighting Detect] Activate to set the dimmer function on automatically when
the head lamps of the vehicle are lit.
[Day Dimming Level] Touch [+]/[-] to adjust the brightness of the display in the
day time.
[Night Dimming Level] Touch [+]/[-] to adjust the brightness of the display in the
night time.
[Illumination] Select an illumination color from the preset list.
[Wallpaper] Select the wall paper from the preset items in this product
or original pictures via the external device.
The wall paper can be set from selections for the top menu
screen and AV operation screen.
Preset Display Select the desired preset background display.
Select the background display image of the connected USB
storage device.

(custom) Displays the background display image imported from the
USB storage device.
(off) Hides the background display.
Audio settings
The menu items vary according to the source. Some of the menu items become
unavailable when the volume is set to mute.
Menu Item Description
[Fader/Balance] Touch or to adjust the front/rear speaker balance.
Set [Front] and [Rear] to [0] when using a dual speaker
sy
stem.

or to adjust the left/right speaker balance.
TIP
You can also set the value by dragging the point on the displayed
table
.
[Cutoff]
[Subwoofer] Select enable or disable rear subwoofer output from this
product.
[Front HPF] Adjust the speaker output level of the listening position by
touching [+]/[-].

[Custom2]
Select or customize the equalizer curve.
Select a curve that you want to use as the basis of
customizing then touch the frequency that you want to
adjust.
TIPS
• I
f you make adjustments when a curve [S.Bass (Super Bass)],
[Powerful], [Natural], [Vocal], or [Flat] is selected, the equalizer
curve settings will be changed to [Custom1] mandatorily.
• I
f you make adjustments when the [Custom2] curve is selected
for example, the [Custom2] curve will be updated.
• [C
ustom1] and [Custom2] curves can be created common to all
sources.
• I
f you trail a finger across the bars of multiple equalizer bands,
the equalizer curve settings will be set to the value of the
touched point on each bar.
