Vibration may damage wires or insulation, leading to a short circuit or other damage to the vehicle. • It is extremely dangerous to allow the GPS aerial lead or microphone lead to become wound around the steering column or gearstick. Be sure to install this navigation system in such a way that it will not obstruct driving.

Please refer to your vehicle’s Owner’s Manual for reference to the deployment area of the frontal airbags.

English Position the navigation unit so that its screw holes are aligned with the screw holes of the bracket, and tighten the screws at 3 or 4 locations on each side. Use either the binding screws (5 × 6 mm) or flush surface screws (5 × 6 mm), depending on the shape of the bracket’s screw holes.

First, double-check that all connections are correct and that this navigation system is installed correctly. Reassemble all vehicle components that you previously removed.
