Note
If speaker input wires from a h
ead
unit are con-
nected to this amplifier, the amplifier will automa-
tically turn on when the head unit
is
turn
ed
on.
When the head unit is turned off, the amplifier
tu
rn

ff
automatically. This function may not
work
wi
th some
head
units.
In
such cases, please
u
se
a system remote control wire
(so
ld
sepa-
ratel
y)
. If multiple amplifiers are to
be
connected
together synchronou
sly,
connect t
he
head unit
and
al
l amplifiers via the system remote control
wire.@

Solderless
terminal
connections
• Since
the
wi
re
will become loose over time,
it must be periodically inspected and
tigh
-
tened as necessar
y.
• Do not solder
or
bind the ends
of
the
twisted wires.
• Fasten while making sure
to
not
to cl
amp
the
insul
at
ing sheath
of
the wire.
• Use
the
supplied hexagonal wrench to
tighten and loosen
the
terminal screw of
the ampli
fier
and use it to securely fasten
the wire. Be careful to avoid excessi
ve
tigh-
tening
of
this screw,
which
may damage
th
e wire.

the
power
terminal

he
battery wire
is
not secure
ly
fixed to the term-
i
na
l using the terminal screws, there is a risk of
overheati
ng,
malfunction and inj
ury,
includi
ng
minor burns.
• Always use the recommended battery and
ground wi
re,
which is sold separately. Con-
nect
the
battery wire directly
to
the
car
bat-
tery positive ((t))
term
inal and t he ground
wire
to
the
car
body.
• Recommended wires size (AWG: American
Wire Gauge) is as follows. The battery wire,
the ground wire and the optional direct
ground wire
mus
t be same si
ze.
• Use a wire
of
12 AWG
to
16 AWG
wire
for
the
speaker/subwoofer wire.
