Details
When watching wide mode software, this lets you adjust aspect ratio to
suit your TV
You can switch between audio output from the player's digital output jack or
the digital coaxial PCM/rlrliack Dolby Digital (sound system used at cinemas
etcl and Linear PCM (the same digital signal as CDs) are the two standards
for DVDs
This lets you select between component output and regular output of video
signals rf you select component output, the signal from the video output
jack becomes black and white. You cannot switch to Component for watching
video on LDs, CDVs or CDs bearing the GRAPHICS mark With these discs,
the player automatically switches to (S) video output
96 kHz: Wilh PCM audio sources that have a sampling frequency of 96 kHz,
this assures high sound quality With audio sources that have a sampling
frequency of 48 k Hz, play is performed with sampling frequency unchanged
at 48 kHz
48 kHz: During play this compresses sampling frequency of 96 kHz discs
to 48 kHz 48 kHz discs are played as they are, at a sampling frequency of
48 kHz
• You can select the sampling frequency to match that of the audio signal
recorded on a disc Simultaneous switching of the Analog output and Digital
output is performed to match your selected sampling frequency
• Some 96 kHz DVDs are copy protected With this kind of disc, no signal is
output from the digitar output terminal
