Press _ and then press [].
• "RANDOM CHP" is displayed on the screen
and chapters within a single title are played
in random order•
Random play of titles
RANOOM
PressO twice, and then press G'
• "RANDOM TITLE" isindicated on the screen,
and titles are played in random order•
With LDs

Press O.
• "RANDOM" is indicated on the screen, and
chapters are played in random order•
For random play of side B on an LD:
AA_DOM
• Press o_E, and then press _ after side
B has been selected•
With CDs and Video CDs
RANDO_A
Press _.
! .................. !!!' !!!!!!!!'
• "RANDOM" is indicated on the screen, and
tracks are played in random order.
During random play:
_E×T
• Press _, and the player selects and starts
playing the next track
• Press _), and the current track starts playing
again from the beginning•

Press _.
• This returns you to normal playback of
chapters/tracks in order from the chapter/
track currently playing.
• Random play is not possible with LDs not featuring
chapters
• With Video CDs, Random play is not possible during
playback with the menu displayed (PBC playback) TO
perform Random play, start playback w!!hh_outdisplaying
a menu (refer to page 16), and press
• Random play of programmed chapters is not possible
• With DVDs, random play is not possible with certain
titles
• Random play cannot be repeated
