Note: If the firmware update is interrupted such as
during a power failure, you will need to connect the
DVD-V8000 to a computer through the serial port to
update the firmware

If your DVD-V8000 was manufactured after October 2006 (Serial # FJMP0000831 or higher) then
your unit already has this or a later firmware version. If you experience external sync problems,
please contact your Pioneer representative for assistance.
