1. Insert DVD with foreign region code
2. Wait for the error message to appear
3. Press M (Memory)
4. Press 1
5. Press PLAY

1. Get the multi-region update disc for the SD220E

2. Write it in DAO mode
3. Switch on DVD Player
4. Press SETUP
5. Under the Picture option change Pal/Auto setting to Auto
6. Press SETUP
7. Insert the update CD
8. The following images are displayed: ’Nabe the Wiz’ and then ‘FIN’
9. Remove CD
10. Switch DVD Player On/Off

1. Open the disc tray
2. Press 2, 4, 0, 3, 9, 6, 0
3. Select region using ENTER (9 = multi-region)
4. Close the disc tray
5. Power off

2. Insert foreign DVD
3. Close the disc tray
4. Press STOP before the error message is displayed
5. Press "T" twice
6. Enter a time of one second
7. Press PLAY
