2. Press OPEN/CLOSE on the remote

3. Press SETUP

4. Press 1, 3, 6, 9

5. Press LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT

6. Select region (0 = multi-region)

Akai DVD-2100 / DVD-2100SS

1. Open the disc tray

2. Press 3, 8, 3, 8

3. Select region (9 = multi-region)

Akai DVD-3850S

1. Open the disc tray

2. Press 8, 5, 6, 1

3. A menu should appear

1. Turn on the player

2. Open the disc tray

3. Press SETUP

4. Press 9, 1, 0, 1, 0 (first digit (9) is for multi-region)

5. Press STEP, SHUFFLE, NEXT

6. Close disc tray

5. Go to the Debug settings. The current RC is shown there.

6. Close disc tray
