1. Turn on the player
2. When the menu shows up, open the disc tray
3. Press 1,0,3,0
4. Select the RC
5. Turn on the player and off completely
JBL DSC-400
1. Open the disc tray
2. Press and hold 6 on your remote
3. Press MENU/PBC - The RC shows up on the screen
4. By pressing MENU/PBC several times you can select the options:
0>2>3>4>5>6>0 (0 = codefree)
5. When you've selected the desired RC, press "Angle"
"Writing Region ID" appears on screen
6. Hold down "Angle" until "Writing Region ID" vanishes. This can be up to 5
secs.
JBL DSC-500
1. Open the disc tray
2. Press VOL+ for about 3 secs
3. Press LANGUAGE
4. Press the button for the desired RC (0=codefree)
5. Press OK
6. Close the disc tray
JBL DVD600 / DVD600II

JDB DVD 851MR / Slimline 2
1. Open the disc tray
2. Press SETUP
3. Press NEXT CHAPTER, PREV CHAPTER, NEXT CHAPTER, PREV
CHAPTER
4. "VerX" is displayed (X=RC)
5. Select the region using RIGHT/LEFT (255 = codefree)
6. Press SETUP twice
7. Close the disc tray
JDB V 600 R
1. Open the disc tray
2. Pres 8, 4, 2, 1
3. Change region (9 = codefree)
