Thisplayer’sHomeMediaGalleryfunction
allowsyoutodisplayalistofinputsourcesand
startplayback.Thischapterdescribessetup
andplaybackproceduresrequiredtoenjoy
thesefeatures.Whenyouplaythefilesstored
onyourcomputerorthecomponentsonthe
network,itisadvisorythatyoualsorefertothe
operationmanualsuppliedwithyournetwork
component.
Theinputsourcesthatcanbeplayedfrom
HomeMediaGalleryareasshownbelow.

imageoraudiofiles,etc.arerecorded.

• TheHomeMediaGalleryallowsyoutoplayfileson
mediaserversconnectedtothesameLocalArea
Network(LAN)astheunit.

asdescribedabovecanbeplayedbyDigitalMedia
Player(DMP).Theplayersupportstheuseofsuch
DMP.
• Toplaybackaudiofilesstoredoncomponents
onthenetwork,youmustturnontheDHCP
serverfunctionofyourrouter.Incaseyourrouter
doesnothavethebuilt-inDHCPserverfunction,
itisnecessarytosetupthenetworkmanually.
