Combining and Using Pioneer AV Equipment
■Switching the road traffic flash and transport flash on or off.
➲ Press TA/NEWS button on the Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) to
turn the road traffic flash and transport flash on. The “TRFC” icon lights. (Refer to page
127.)
➲ Press TA/NEWS button on the Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) again
to turn the road traffic flash and transport flash off.
■Canceling road traffic flash and transport flash interruptions part
way through
➲ To cancel a road traffic flash or transport flash interruption and return to the original source,
press the TA/NEWS button on the Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R)
during an announcement interruption.
■Switching the News Flash on or off
➲ Press TA/NEWS button on the Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) for 2
seconds to turn the news flash on. The “NEWS” icon lights. (Refer to page 127.)
➲ Press TA/NEWS button on the Pioneer AV Head Unit (AVH-P6400CD or AVH-P6400R) for 2
seconds again to turn the news flash off.
■Displaying the DAB TUNER MENU
1 Press A.MENU (AUDIO) button when source is DAB.
2 Select “DAB TUNER” and press A.MENU (AUDIO) button.
The DAB TUNER MENU is displayed as follows:
AS (ANNOUNCEMENT SUPPORT), AVAILABLE SERVICE LIST, AVAILABLE PTY
SEARCH, PRIMARY/SECONDARY, SF (SERVICE FOLLOW), P.CH RECALL/
MEMORY
You can operate a desired function. For details, refer to the pages for each of the func-
tions.
➲ Select “BACK” in the MENU display or press BACK/FUNC button to return to the previous
display.
➲ To return to the frequency display, press BAND/ESC button.
➲ If you do not operate the function within about 30 seconds, the display is automatically
returned to the frequency display.
