Using the pedestrian mode
Setting a walking route to the
final destination
“Pedestrian mode” is useful when your final
destination is a short distance away from a
place accessible by vehicle. For example, if
you use the pedestrian mode, the AVICSYNC
app provides a walking route to the final desti-
nation.
1 Set the route on your in-car navigation
system.

your in-car navigation system.
3 Drive your vehicle around your destina-
tion.
4 When you are within a range of
1 500 m (0.93 mi) from your final destina-
tion, park your vehicle in a safe place and
apply the parking brake.
5 Stop the engine and turn off the igni-
tion.
Your in-car navigation system will also turn off.
A message confirming whether to continue
the route guidance with the pedestrian mode
appears on the AVICSYNC app.
p The confirmation message for the pedes-
trian mode also appears when you discon-
nect your iPhone or smartphone (Android)
from your in-car navigation system.
6 Tap [Continue Navigation] on the
AVICSYNC app.
The route is recalculated and the AVICSYNC
