p If you have set waypoints, the current tem-
peratures of the waypoints are also shown.
Touching an item allows you to check the
weather forecast for that waypoint.

, the setting menu for
weather information appears.

Using online search
You can search for a place online by entering
a name. The wide range around the current
position is searched.
1 Prepare the AVICSYNC function for use.

13.
2 Press the MAP button.
The Map screen appears.
3 Touch the following key.
Displays the navigation menu on
the Map screen.
4 Touch [New Route].
The “New Route to...” screen appears.
5 Touch [Online Search].
6 Enter the name, address, or category of
the destination you are looking for, then
touch the following key.
Displays the “Search Results”
screen.
7 Touch the entry you want.
p If you touch a data provider logo, you can
narrow down the list of results by showing
the results from the provider.
The searched location appears on the Map
screen.
8 Touch [Select as Destination] on the
“Map Location” screen.

Location” screen, refer to the Operation
Manual of your in-car navigation system.
After touching [Select as Destination], the
“Route Summary” screen appears and count-
down begins. When the countdown ends, the
guidance automatically starts. If the screen is
touched anywhere during the countdown, the
countdown stops and the screen will stay as it
is.
9 Touch [Start Navigation].
Your in-car navigation system starts the route
guidance.
