Setting the automatic open
mode
To prevent the display from hitting the shift lever
of an automatic vehicle when it is in the “P”
(park) position, or when you do not wish open-
ing/closing of the display to be carried out auto-
matically, you can switch this function ON/OFF.
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select AUTO FLAP from the
SET UP MENU, and press A.MENU.
AUTO FLAP adjustment indications are dis-
played.
2 Press 2 to select the manual.
Press 2 until the OPEN/CLOSE:MANUAL
setting appears in the display. Each time you
press a manually set display’s EJECT, the dis-
play opens or closes.
3 Press 3 to select the auto.
Press 3 until the OPEN/CLOSE:AUTO set-
ting appears in the display. With auto setting,
the display automatically opens or closes when
power to this unit is switched ON.
Note
• If you do not operate the function within
about 30 seconds, the display is automatically
returned to the playback display.
Setting the time
This is used to set the time on the unit’s clock
display.
1 Press 5 or ∞ to select CLOCK ADJUST from
the SET UP MENU, and press A.MENU.
CLOCK ADJUST indications are displayed.
2 Press 5 or ∞ to select ON or OFF.
When ON is selected, the clock is shown in the
display.
When OFF is selected, the clock is not shown in
the display.
3 Select the portion of the time display you
wish to set with 2/3.
Pressing 2/3 will select a portion of the clock
display:
HOUR—MINUTE—ADJUST
4 Press 5 or ∞ to slide to ADJUST, and the
minute is reset.
After reset, 00 is displayed.
Note
• If you do not operate the function within
about 30 seconds, the display is automatically
returned to the playback display.
